Craigavon is a town in County Armagh in Northern Ireland. It is one of the newest settlements in Northern Ireland.
As a new city Craigavon offers a variety of modern housing aimed at modern families with professional parents. As a planned settlement they tend to have generous portions of gardens both at the front and rear of the properties. Further to the North, in Lurgan, one can find more of the amenities that families would expect, such as hospitals and schools. It also hosts many more transport links than the South end of the town. The North end of the town is dominated by industrial parks, and therefore there is very little housing in the area, however further to the North there are some more rural properties available.
Because of its status as a new settlement it is unclear whether property in the region will retain its worth in the long term. Large family properties are plentiful in the area, and therefore demand is not particularly high, however if the planned industry in the area takes off then the demand, and the prices raise significantly.
