Warrington is a town in Cheshire, 16 miles from Manchester and 18 miles from Liverpool. Both cities are an easy 20-30 minute train ride away. The town has two main railway stations: Bank Quay and Central connecting it further afield to London and Glasgow. The M6, M56 and M62 motorways all surround the town making it easily accessible by road too.
Warrington is full of things to do with the Par Hall Concert Hall, the Pyramid Arts Centre and the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery there to keep you busy. It has a magnificent town hall with decadent black and gold gates that were presented to Queen Victoria as a present from the people of Warrington. The undercover shopping complex Golden Square and Warrington's outdoor market keep the shoppers busy.
There is an array of greenery nearby with the nature reserves of Birchwood Park, Risley Moss, Woolston Eyes and Paddington Meadows all nearby as well as the forests of Rivington and Delamere. There is a lot of National Trust properties dotted around too such as Walton Gardens which is worth a visit for those interested in history and includes a family zoo for the children.
Most of the housing is modern with all types of property on offer including a lot of terraces. Popular areas are Stockton Heath, Great Sankey, Winwick, Latchford and Chapelford Village.
