Littlehampton is a seaside resort in West Sussex just over 50 miles from London. Originally a fishing port, Littlehampton is now a popular destination for thousands of leisure craft which arrive from all over Europe and a thriving commercial port.
Road access to the town is via the A259 and the A27, which links to the M27, runs nearby. Rail services from the three local railway stations link Littlehampton with Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton as well as to London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, East Croydon and Bognor Regis.
The town has a small theatre and cinema, numerous recreation grounds and parks and a choice of shopping; however, there is only one secondary school and just three primary schools in the area.
Property is, as is to be expected, more traditional and established than in some other areas but affords good opportunities for buy-to-let and renovate to sell. The town is highly popular and a favourite place to retire.
