Greasby is a small town in Cheshire, a few miles away from the Irish Sea, River Mersey and Liverpool.
It is quite a spread out town, meaning that the majority of properties are detached houses and bungalows, suitable for retired individuals and couples as well as families whose breadwinner needs to commute to Liverpool or Birkenhead.
As small towns go, it is fairly well set up for family life, with four schools in the area. It also boasts a handful of pubs, every necessary amenity for living in terms of local shops but little else, making it the ideal village for retirement and young families.
As previously mentioned, houses are usually bungalows or detached houses and are generally around the £200-250,000 price range. Now, that is fairly pricey for the general area but it is a beautiful location and the houses are worth the price and would be double that at least further south.
There are cheaper alternatives to people needing Liverpool or Birkenhead, but for those slightly further up the property ladder, Greasby could be a more than acceptable destination.
