Farringdon is an area of Central London, located on the banks of the River Thames, which provides superb access to the country's capital city, right from its heart.
It sits inside the borough of Islington and shares the prestige, but also the pricetag, of one of London's most exclusive boroughs.
The area is incredibly well situated for travel, surrounded by Tube stations and London overground terminus stations such as Victoria and Waterloo. It is also mere minutes from the South Bank, London Eye, the Aquarium and a multitude of theatres so residents are within easy reach of a wealth of entertainment.
As one would expect though, all this does come at a cost. With space at a premium in Central London, flats are the most common housing option, with even one-bedroom flats costing over half a million, and if you are looking for more than one bedroom, you'll be digging deep in your pocket for closer to a million pounds for a property.
There are some delightful flats available and location-wise, you'd be hard pressed to beat it but the prices could edge them out of many people's range.
