East Sheen is a suburb on the outskirts of south-west London, in the Richmond-upon-Thames Borough.
The town is much sought after by those wishing to commute into London and is very well served for transport links as Richmond has both Overground and Underground services operating from the station so Central London can be achieved within minutes.
Prices are on the high side, but that is to be expected when you consider that the likes of Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham are only a couple of miles away. East Sheen consists of predominantly terraced housing and a property with a couple of bedrooms would set you back around £400,000, but most of the properties are fairly new so the increased cost is to be expected.
East Sheen is well served in terms of schools, but for shoppers, you would need to travel into the city, Brentford or Richmond to do your big shop.
However, that is a mild inconvenience when considering the benefits of living only a few miles outside of the most desirable postcodes in the country.
