Coulsdon is a town in the London borough of Croydon. Lying just within the green belt, it is one of the most Southerly towns within the M25.
Obviously owing to its proximity to central London, and many rail links, Coulsdon is a popular choice with commuters and young families looking to escape the prohibitively high cost of living in Central London, whilst still retaining their professional positions in the city. Although there are a few shops, leisure facilities and other conveniences in the centre of town, Coulsdon is generally a residential town, with a variety of spacious homes surrounded by playing fields, and of course, the green belt to the South. Most of the homes are detached or semi-detached, with fairly large gardens both at the front and the rear.
Because of its location and strong transport links, and because of the prohibition on development in the green belt, property in Coulsdon is rather expensive, however one can be fairly sure that it will behave as most London property investments do, and retain its worth as the city grows larger and larger.
