Camberley is a large satellite town located around 30 miles south-west of London in the county of Surrey. With a population of around 30,000 and a variety of new retail and residential developments it is an obvious choice for those wishing to commute to London daily and spend their free time in a smaller and friendlier town-environment.
A new development by the name of The Atrium has recently been completed, including hundreds of new apartments in the heart of new leisure and entertainment facilities. Such properties are in the medium price range, and aimed at young families or professional couples. Larger properties can be found in a variety of distances from the busy town centre, in all manner of sizes and styles in areas such as King's Ride. More affordable properties can be found on some of the older estates, such as the Old Dean.
Buying property in the area is a worthwhile investment: with increasing prices in London, and the legislated limitation of new construction in the green-belt, commuting properties in the area will always have as much potential for rental or resale as they will convenience for habitation.
