The West Sussex coastal resort of Bognor Regis lies around 70 miles to the south-west of London. There's a fast rail link to London Victoria, with journey times of under an hour and a half. The A27 links Bognor to Portsmouth and Southampton. Southampton Eastleigh International Airport is 32 miles away.
Around 23,000 people call Bognor Regis home. The area has a reputation as a haven for retired and elderly people. The wide green open spaces of the South Downs National Park are right on the doorstep and Bognor has some splendid beaches.
The town centre offers plenty of Victorian and Georgian architecture and a popular seafront, as well as pleasant public parks and gardens. You'll find significant amounts of modern, post-1950s housing, to the north and west of the town the centre.
The more exclusive areas of town include The Close, The Byway and Bay Walk. The Aldwick neighbourhood has plenty of larger detached houses to offer, along with striking coastal views.
For middle-of-the-range housing, try places such as Gibson Way, Cheshire Close or Richmond Avenue. And you'll find more modestly priced homes in the neighbourhoods around Sylvan Way, Laburnum Mews and Lyon Street West, an area rich in flats and apartments.
