The large town of Blackburn lies on the River Blakewater in Lancashire, 37 miles northwest of Manchester. Around 105,000 people call Blackburn home. The town is served by the M65 and M6 motorways and has its own railway station. Blackpool International Airport is 23 miles to the west.
