Stoke-on-Trent is a city in Staffordshire which consists of six towns making up 'the Potteries' (a clue to the area's industrial past and present, the city still produces some of the world's finest ceramics). Stoke-on-Trent is connected by the M6 which takes you close to Manchester and Liverpool.
