Kingswinford is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands and is a major area for tourism and commuters.
Local roads suffer from frequent congestion and the area is to be considered part of the nearby Dudley transport infrastructure. Considered by most residents as a good place to live, 1950s and 60s developments have marred the rural nature of the town and has led to its absorption into the greater Dudley area. Having said this, the development has brought wealth into the area with the construction of many upmarket housing estates.
The area has three secondary schools and six primary schools of varying reputations.
Properties in Kingswinford include the many upmarket estates of varying housing stock as well as the more established dwellings. The choice includes everything from flats to substantial detached properties.
