Huntingdon is the county town of Huntingdonshire, a district of Cambridgeshire and well known as being the site of 3 RAF stations, RAF Brampton, Wyton and Alconbury, which is currently occupied by the United States Air Force.
The area has good transport links and both Huntingdon and nearby St Neot's rail stations offer direct services to London Kings Cross as well as to the north and Scotland. Bus services are comprehensive and both Luton and Stansted airports are a short drive away. The M11 links the area to the main motorway network heading south and north and the M25 offers access to routes east and west.
Local schools include a selection of primary and secondary schools as well as Huntingdonshire Regional College, Hinchinbrooke School Sixth Form College and St Peter's Sixth Form.
