Fareham is a mid-sized town in Hampshire within easy reach of both Southampton and Portsmouth.
It is ideally situated for commuting to both of Hampshire's major cities but is also busy and well set up for families, couples and individuals who don't need to travel for work.
The most desirable part of the town is on the west wide with multi-bedroom detached houses set back from the road and priced at a tempting 600,000 or thereabouts which, given its location by the sea and only a short trek from the New Forest, is a tidy amount.
Should you require something more low-budget, the centre of town has a wide choice of flats and single bedroom properties for under 100,000 so is ideal for those in the south looking to get onto the property ladder.
The town has a well-stocked high street and a wide choice of schools so is a great place for family property. As mentioned before, the town centre is the cheapest but as you edge towards the outskirts, especially westwards, prices rise and properties become more of a semi-detached, multi-bedroom nature.
