Falkirk is a medium sized town, sitting halfway between Scotland's two major cities Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Despite once being a manufacturing powerhouse, Falkirk is now seen as more of a retail based economy and profits from through trade as people travel between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The town has much to offer its residents in the way of amenities. The High Street dominates the town centre and there are a number of major supermarkets on the outskirts, giving residents a range of choices for their grocery needs.
Located between the M8 to Edinburgh and the M80 to Glasgow, Falkirk is a perfect commuter town as it can cater for workers travelling to the most populous city in the country or its capital.

Flats, even in the town centre, can be snapped up for around 30-40,000 and would be perfect for individuals or couples who work in the town or either surrounding city. Should more bedrooms be required, terraced housing is the order of the day and three bedroom houses are available for under 80,000 which is remarkably good value, considering the standard of living and the jobs available within an easy commute.
