Dungannon is a town of around 16,000 people in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland whose main industry is food and engineering based.
The town is situated 40 miles west of Belfast along the M1 so could provide a decent base for a family as the commute would not be terribly excessive.
The town itself is well equipped for living and boasts the Oak shopping centre, Global cinema and a wide choice of schools, so families would be well served in Dungannon for all the basic day-to-day needs and entertainments.
It is a fairly typical village with a large residential area tightly packed with houses so neighbours will not be short on the ground. It could suit an elderly couple or individual, looking for somewhere to enjoy their retirement as the surrounding area is extremely appealing to walkers.
In terms of property values, three bedroom houses are available from between 55,000-70,000 so represent excellent value for money.
